Prince of Wales Stakes Postponed

FORT ERIE- April 2, 2020 – Fort Erie Race Track announced today that it would be postponing the Prince of Wales Stakes, the 2nd jewel in the Canadian Triple Crown. The decision was made after Woodbine announced they would be postponing the Queen’s Plate to an undetermined later date due to COVID-19 and the delayed start of their racing season.

The Prince of Wales Stakes, originally scheduled for Tuesday, July 21, is typically held three weeks after the Queen’s Plate. A new date will be announced at a later time, when more information about the season is available.
